During this episode, the gang has an encounter with a stereotypical trope of the "bedsheet ghost." Upon further analysis the viewers will also notice the disembodied voice coming from the skill, levitating food from what seems to be an invisible person, the seemingly empty suit of armor helping to cut the sandwich, and the eyes of the portrait moving back and forth as the gang discusses the ghost after the chase. On September 27th, 1969, the "Scooby-Doo, Where Are you" episode known as "Hassel In The Castle" aired. This gang is no stranger to the supernatural. One cartoon that stands the test of time and numerous "revamping" of the show and spin-offs is Scooby-doo.
